Im too short and he is tall, so we would have to do some major maneuvering and thats dangerous when everything is slippery! Doesn't mean we haven't tried! Haha

@autumnlove: LOL that's how my husband feels. We have two ways to enter our shower. As soon as I step in he steps out the other way b/c he knows I just want to play. Such a big shower. Such a waste.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: That does sound like an extreme waste of an awesome big shower!

I wish! In our new house it is a shower built for one and I feel weird about using the guest bath because I have the mindset it is for our kids... who aren't quite here just yet. But when we had a full shower/bath in our apt we sure did!

Every now and then we do however it is only when I am generous enough to share my shower time and give up my hot water. Dh thinks my water is scorching and I think he takes barely warm showers.

@cyndistar3: yess same here on tge water temp
our shower is built for one and one only. i barely fit in there alone at 9 months pregnant

Unfortunately our shower is way too small, it barely fits my non-pregnant self! And the water pressure is pretty slack.

Lol funny story: I take several baths a day and one time decided to invite my husband in. Well I lit some candles and filled the tub up and put in bubbles and climbed in. I called my husband to come and get in and when my husband opened the bathroom door my dang cat ran in and knocked all the candles over and got the wax on his paws. It wasn't hot enough to burn him but he was a mess.
Story of my life!

We used to shower together multiple times a week, but no friskiness. It's fun to be able to talk and have company. For me, baths are me time, not to be shared.

I love to talk in the shower because there are no distractions.

Nope! It's usually shower for 3 at our house
It'll be shower for 4 soon enough, which is why we're building a double headed shower in our master shower

It has happened in the past, when we were young and friskier. These days not so much though.

We tried a couple times but it never works out. Will have to try in the new house. Shower is smaller, no tub, but has two shower heads.

Yep, we shower together often and get frisky in there on occasion too. To be perfectly honest - I have looked into getting a safety grab bar (or two) but I think if people came over they would know why it was put in there. Sorry of that is TMI!

@highwire: @cyndistar3: Ditto on the water temp!
Hubby only hops in the shower with me when he does want to get frisky. Otherwise, we'll share in separately. haha!

we shower together everyday! its usually PG. Its our favorite time of day - baby is sleeping an we get to chat and be 'husband and wife'

We've tried but end up getting frustrated and moving it to the bedroom.
We do still shower together on occasion though.

Our current house is not set up for that, very awkward to fit more than one. One of our old houses had a nice shower set up for that

We've tried... but honestly the water dries me out down there! so we do shower together frequently but not usually to get frisky.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
We don't have a double shower but sometimes (not very often) get frisky in there, although usually halfway through we end up pausing and moving to the bed because with our height difference it's really hard to get a good angle (and be comfortable). The last time was when I was 38 weeks pregnant...I lost part of my mucus plug during it, haha (I also think that was the last time we tried having sex when I was pregnant).

@Reese: pshhh who cares what people think - at least you guys are doing it hahaha! My aunt congratulated me when I mentioned I "dance" for my husband, she said it's good to find creative ways to keep the flame alive

Sure. It's not the usual locale, but maybe a couple times a month it's a nice way to change things up

yeah!...however it's really awkward these days with this big preggo belly...but in my normal body we love it

@cyndistar3: @highwire: @Alivoo01: same here with water temp!
We took showers often together with DH always wanting something. I would tell him it was a "working shower" when I wasn't down for funny business! We haven't showered together since DD was born although we've each showered with her since she hates the sling in the baby bath tub we have but seems to like us holding her in the shower.

we also like different temps but sometimes we shower together, I like it really hot and he likes it nearly cold so we dont shower together often

@Mrs. Pen: lol +1 to that!
That is our Sunday morning ritual, we don't have a 2 person shower though.
