Not trying to open old wounds or start any sibling drama (lol), but who has the better name?
I will reluctantly give the edge to my bro because his name starts with the last letter of the alphabet and he can use his nick name in any setting.

I like my youngest sisters name best. Funny since it is the last one they picked

hmmmm! probably my sister! my brother and I had top 5 names. mine was trendy, his is more of a classic (still quite popular). My sisters was 74 the year she was born and now 102.

We all have super common names (taking nicknames into consideration) so actually none are my faves.
pomelo / 5258 posts
We both had uncommon names but his is growing in popularity. Growing up people always called him Brandon because they were unfamiliar with his name. Maybe that makes mine better?

Hmm, I can't say I think any are better or worse. None are phenomenal and none are terrible.

My parents did a good job with all three of us. I like my first and middle combo the most, but think my youngest sister's first name is really beautiful. My middle sister's name is gorgeous, but so unique that it's constantly misspelled and mispronounced.

I like my brother's name better, it is totally classic. My name is ok, but not super common, although it think most people know at least one person with my name and there is one very famous singer with my name. I've just never been a huge fan of it.

My sisters have beautiful names! I was always jealous of them because they had less common names and my name was #3 the year I was born. My poor brother is a 3rd though and got saddled with a pretty cumbersome name.

All of ours are in a similar style, so none is better than the other... Though one of my sisters did get my beloved grandmother's name as a middle name which I loved enough to name my daughter.

My name is the most unusual, but I like my sister's best. It's really pretty.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think our brothers may have the same name.
My brother has a terrible middle name. It was my dad's dad's name. I had a kick ass name. Then I got married & now I might as we'll be Julia gulia from the wedding singer. It's bad.

We were both named after our parents (they weren't creative) but I have the better middle name. Which is the name I go by. My mom just told me her friend named her daughter after she heard my mom call me on the phone one day. I thought that was pretty cool

@mrs. bird: ha! My first name rhymes with my husbands first name, and my maiden name rhymes with my married name.
I like all of our names equally, but my sister has the most unique spelling of a nick name of all of us. I like it a lot!!

All three of us have very Irish-American names. I like them all but I like my middle name the best.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: OMG, my maiden name rhymes with my married name too! Ha, it sounds ridiculous.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I do like it! I share my first name with dr Montgomery on private practice. I looove my name. I think our names sound nice together as sibling names

It's a toss up between me and my youngest sister! My parents have great naming style and I love all the names though

Neither, our parents are former hippies, so we both have different names. Mine is extremely old fashioned- nobody under 80 has it, my brother's sounds normal, but has a bizzare French spelling. I call lose/lose.

Our names were both reallyyyyy popular (top 3 the years we were born). I pick hers because its really cute as a double name with her middle name.

Ours are all the same, I guess. All super plain, classic names that I thought were boring growing up but that I appreciate now. I'm one of 6 kids and we all have names like James, Mary, Lisa, Elizabeth, Jonathan, etc.

I love my sister's name... so much so that even as a kid I used to offer to trade her (jokingly of course).

@mrs. bird: you have the best first name! (and LOL about Julia Gulia!)

I have 4 sisters, and I'm jealous of 3 of their names. The oldest three have names that aren't too Asian -- Lynn, Lee, and May. I ended up with the super Asian name -- Yin. Boo!

I love my name! My brother has a perfectly nice name, but mine is rare, though not unheard of, with ties to nature and the time of year I was born. It's not an American name (we're not American), and the reaction I get most often when I tell people is for them to tell me how much they like it. Good job, mom & dad!

They're all pretty classic and mostly biblical (one brother's isn't), but I like mint the best. (Joshua David, Sean Patrick, Matthew Gordon and Sarah Caitlin)

I love my sister's name. Mine was a little more trendy (in 1982) and hers is more classic. I would have loved to use it for a LO but that would be too confusing.
honeydew / 7589 posts
My sister, for sure. More interesting than mine, but not weird at all. She has a good name.
