It was important to us that he was the first family member to meet her. Two or so hours after my C-section my mom picked him up from preschool and she waited in the hall with my ILs while he ran in yelling "Is that my baby sister?!"

I had to find mine that I posted here. The 1st pic was them "meeting" probably 30 mins after birth. Zuma was at the birthing center while I gave birth but fell asleep. And the second was the next morning.

Well DS saw the baby at the hospital but DS2 was asleep and bundled up like a burrito so he couldn't really interact.
This was the first time they actually interacted a few days after I got home from the hospital. He offered baby brother a Magnatile and pet his head.
They are basically obsessed with each other.

Dd1 looks so skeptical in this photo due to nerves seeing Mommy in the hospital, but she actually was so sweet and immediately gave little sister a kiss and a tickle and has pretty much not left her alone in the last 7 months.

He was pretty excited. Then again, he was also super excited by all the construction equipment he could see from the window of our hospital room
