We have a 2.5 year-old and a 5 day-old. Today my toddler woke with a fever (not super high, probably in the 101 range, but not totally sure because DH medicated before checking). He is pretty lethargic and alternatively says his tummy hurts and/or his throat hurts.

I'm really struggling. Both emotionally being torn between my boys (my toddler is sobbing for me and wanting to snuggle all day, but we're trying to keep him downstairs while I'm upstairs with the little one) and physically balancing their needs. DH works from home, but it's a new job and his productivity has already dropped this month because he was at the hospital with me (he has no official time off).

Tonight, my mom took my toddler to her house, but she works full time, and this isn't a long-term solution (she needs to bring him back by lunch tomorrow).

So mostly what I need to hear is stories of your toddler being sick and your newborn/you not getting sick. I'm so worried that my little one is going to spike a fever. We're all washing hands like crazy and keeping the boys in separate rooms.
