Hi all,
I was curious if the SIDS prevention regarding where your baby sleeps is universal...?
I see a lot of posts from people about moving their baby into their own room when they are (relatively) young.
In the UK the advice is to keep your baby sleeping in the same room as you until 6 months. So that's what DH and I are planning to do. I guess that's not the case everywhere?
Just curious is this not standard advice in North America too?
Not being judgey at all. Just genuinely curious if the advice is different?
At least now it kind of makes sense to me why a lot of you decorate a nursery room before baby arrives.... I was always rather baffled as we planned on having baby in our room for the first six months, so didn't understand why you would put all the baby stuff in a different, dedicated room!
Interested to hear what is advised where you are.
