We are having a birthday party for T at a pizza place. I don't want to go crazy with decor, but I would love a few ideas. Also what should I dress her in? I found a cute pizza shirt on etsy but it's expensive, I'm not convinced.

Balloon garlands are easy and don't require helium.

Pinwheels in a colored vase or can wrapped in construction paper could make centerpieces and double as favors for LOs or LOs-at-heart.
Near her highchair or where you have the cake set up you can put a few balloons- "1" and some colorful ones.
Funny enough I have thought about hosting something for my baby at my favorite pizza restaurant. I don't think I'd put him in a pizza shirt or red checkered shirt similar to the tablecloths (my place may actually use white linens- we order take out all the time). Hmm...pizza is kind of casual so maybe just a cute dress in colors that will match her cake?

I bought a cloth happy birthday banner from target for lo's first birthday and we use it for every party. We just did that and hung up her monthly pictures and then called it a day! Ding know if that is possible at a pizza place? Balloons are a good idea too!

@youboots: that shirt is super cute! How do you plan to style the rest of her outfit?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think just jeggings and a headband. She has a fluffy dress for her one year pics.

For my son's first birthday, I bought some paper bunting-style garlands, glued on tiny clothespins -- I found both items at Oriental Trading Company; it was easy and cheap -- into the backs of the flags, and clipped in photos from his first year. We also got balloons, and we found a relatively cheap helium tank via a Michaels coupon. I splurged on some pricier balloons that I liked, it that could have been scaled back.
