When did your LO start wearing size 5 diapers? And how much did they weigh when you made the switch?

around 13 months? DS is 19 months and has always been 75%+ size wise

DS can still fit in size 4 at 25 months but he's in size 5 for the absorbency. He's just a little guy though.

I put the kids in size 5 at about the same time because we were having problems containing DD's explosive poops... but I honestly think it was about 8 or 9 m with DD so that would have been 21 or 22 m with DS. DS is a skinny mini and was doing fine in 4s for the longest.

Like 18-20 months? She still fits in size 4, but we use 5 for extra absorption.

@mrsjyw: @RsMom: @NaturallyCathy: @coacheswife123: @loveisstrange: Thanks ladies!
DD is 18 months and been in size 4 for the longest time. They still fit but I think the waist is getting a little snug so wondering if I should make the switch. Size 5 says 27lbs and up and DD is on the tiny side (20lbs at her last appt), so not sure if those will be huge on her. Hmm...

@dolphin: For us, I can still pretty much have the tabs touching on the front but I've found that they fit better length and width wise. Plus the added absorbency everyone else has mentioned.

I think we switched around 18 months! Dd was about 25 lbs. We first switched for nights and then dh mentioned that he thought they fit better. Dd is not necessarily a heavy baby/toddler but she is a little on the tall side. She could still fit a 4 if needed.

DS is 21 months and around 27 pounds and we still have him in size 4 diapers. We put him in size 5 at night time for the extra absorption overnight.

DS is 15 months and 25 lbs. he's in 4s during the day and size 5 overnights at night. He's very long waisted.

We never did switch. She was still in 4s when she potty trained at 20 months.

You guys are all making me feel crazy now! I use 3's on L, and she's somewhere around 22/23 pounds. We mainly CD, but everyone once in awhile she uses disposables for babysitters, vacations, long weekends out, etc. The 3's don't last overnight, so now I wonder if it's because I've been using the diapers wrong.

LO is 16 months and only 23 lbs but we recently switched to 5s. She's tiny but she has a butt and a long waist. They don't fit perfectly but getting 4s to stay on was becoming impossible. I kinda can't believe she's in 5s.

DS is 21 months and 32 lbs but somehow still in 4s - I guess it all depends on their shape because I feel like he still has plenty of room. (Or maybe I'm using diapers wrong!) We use 5s at night though for the extra absorbency.

I have a big boy...I think it was around 10 months/24lbs, still in them now at 14 months and not looking like he will need to move up anytime soon.

@swurlygurl: if you're crazy you have company. My LO is 16 month and 23lbs. She's still in 3's at daycare and we just switched to 4's at home. 4's are a better fit at this point.

@swurlygurl: it was really hard to figure out sizing when CDing! This makes me feel like I should go up to size 5 on my giant girl!

We started size 5 diapers at night when LO was about 20 months old (weighing ~26lbs). Around 21 months is when he started wearing them in the day time.

@swurlygurl: you need 4's at night! I bet it will help!

A bit before his first birthday. But L is a chunky baby - 95th percentile for weight and 50th for height.
