My LO is so small, I kinda think Size 3 (his current size) will be his last, although I don't plan to potty train until summer when he's 2.5. He's about 22 lbs right now at about 2 years. He wears 12-18 pants, but can still wear most 6 month shorts. I don't know how he will actually fit in clothes without a diaper! (Don't include pull-ups...just day-time diapers.)

4 for regular wear. We still put her in 5s for overnight sleep a few times a week...when she doesn't want to pee before bedtime.

LO will likely top off at either 4 or 5. He's in 4 right now, and has been for the last 6 months. He still can't wear most 2T pants though he'll be 25 months at the end of this month. If 12-18 pants weren't so short on him, he'd be all over them!
We aren't going to start potty training until the summer. He has zero interest right now and is in a rebellion stage. So anything I ask him to do (like try the potty) he flat out refuses and throws a fit. I don't want to make him scared of the potty, so I'm just waiting it out.

We're slowly potty training now and she's in size 5. But I think she'll be wearing diapers overnight for a while!

haha you guys are making me realize we may be in a diaper too big for LO! She's in a 5, but is only 23 lbs and 19 months. DH bought them because he thinks they hold it all in better, but I wonder if its unnecessary?

L is 22m, 27 lbs, and in 4s during the day and 5s for overnight. Will probably potty train this summer-ish as LO#2 is arriving in late February. So I'd guess we'd top out at 5s.

We just moved her up to size 5, but she only wears them at night so they are a little bigger, and I guess we are mostly using pull ups at those time too, we just used the rest of the diapers we had.

6s for us. LOs just turned 2 and are 32lbs each, but are no where near ready, so I think we'll be up to 6s by summer, when I hope to train.

I'm going to start PTing L after the new year (so right before 2), and she's in 4s for day and 5s for night. The 5s are swimming on her, so I can't imagine she'll make it to a 6 before I successfully PT her

I'm planning on potty training the week after Christmas, so she'll still be in a 4. I'm not sure if it will click then, but she should be in a 4 for a while!

Size 5 was her last-- she was in a size 5 diaper well before she was 2.

K topped out at 5, D is in 5's now but no where near potty training... He'll probably end with 6 I guess!

My LO wears a 5 and is mostly potty trained. She just turned 2, is 38" and 31 lbs.

Size 4. But she's so tiny that she'd still be in them now, a year later.

My 21.5 lb LO is in a 4 already (we kept having leaks in 3's), so who knows? Not sure if she'll still be in these by the summer when I'd think about PTing or not.

She'll be in fives when we start PTing once #2 success and is in a routine. She's 23 months and been in fives for 3-4 months.

My LO is small like yours. He was about 22-23 lbs when he trained at 23 months but we had him in size 4. We used cloth mostly but disposables at night and the size 3 was a little short so we went up to 4 to avoid leaks.

@Smurfette: she has seemed ready for a while, but I've been putting it off. I'm not looking forward to it AT ALL. Cross your fingers for us!

He was mainly in 4s, but 5s for nighttime...still wearing 5s for naps and at night (and when he refuses to wear undies...).

LO is also small. He has hovered between 21-23 lbs for about 6 months now, and is still in 3's. There's a chance we will move up to 4's before he potty trains, but it isn't looking like it. We don't use disposables often, and 3s seem to still have some room left to grow into.

He's in Huggies Overnights in 5. I may switch to them because we haven't had an leak problems until he's fully trained. I'm thinking 5's will probably be his last size. He does great in undies. Just have to get him geared towards dry naps and bedtimes.

DD was wearing some size 4s and some size 5s when she potty trained at 26 months.

C's in size 4s right now and is 2 1/2... we will start training sometime next year and she'll probably be in 5s by then.
For H (who is almost 7 months and is also wearing size 4s like his big sister), I'm afraid we'll have him in Depends by the time he's old enough to PT!

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I err on big too! My LOs squirm our of the ones that are right for their size way too easily.

DD's last size was a 4 and she sounds a lot like your LO in stature! She was 22lbs at her 2 year we'll visit and was officially potty trained by 2.5. When we went to no diapers a lot of her pants didn't fit as well and we had to tighten up the adjustable waist on her jeans. We still have the long leg thin waist issue! She is 3T in length but her waist is a 2T, which makes buying elastic waist pants for daycare a big challenge (needs to be elastic so they can go potty themselves).

I'm planning to bump up to size 5 once my current box of diapers runs out. She's only 16 months, but very tall and getting poop up the back in her 4's.

We potty trained because she grew out of the size 6 and size 7's were VERY hard to find/expensive. She was 26 months old.

6 for DS1 - he's been in them for a while and they still seem to fit well
DS2 - who knows?! He's 7 months and been in size 4 for a while and will probably move up to 5 soon. He is sooooo chubby!

DS is 16 months and in size 4 (has been for awhile)
He pees in the potty every so often, mostly after his bath but we're not actually potty training right now. I think he will probably be in size 5 when we start potty training.
