R has been having leaks in her size 5's. I have to buy some new overnight diapers by tomorrow. We have one left for tonight. We use Huggies. They say 6's are 35lbs+ online. She was 27lbs at her 2 yr appointment, so she is maybe around 28. Are these going to be huge on her?

We switched A to size 6s last fall. He was around 30 lbs. Just before we potty trained him he was around 32 lbs and 6s fit him perfectly.

DS is right around 30lbs and wears size 6's - they have never leaked on him and don't seem too big at all!

We switched to 6s because 5s were leaking and LOs only about 26lbs

We switched to size 6's too not too long ago - when J was around 32 lbs. He has a big butt and thighs though, so it could also be body shape more than just a specific weight that determines diaper size.

My LO needs the size 6 extra protection pampers at night to not leak. He wears pampers size 5 during the day still. The 6s are big on him even though he's 33lb but they definitely help contain the leaks.

We always size up for overnight diapers. DS wears 5 during the day and 6's at night.

My LO was 30 lbs when we moved him up to size 6 diapers at night (to help with leaks), and they fit just fine...no problems at all!

We have been using size 6 for a couple weeks now. LO was 30 lbs 2 oz at his 2 year check up last week. He's a solid guy though and carries most of his weight in the belly so 5's were too tight in the waist.

It must have to do with shape because L is 31lbs and is still going strong in size 5s. His overnights are 5s too but if he doesn't wear an overnight, it's open floodgates. He is getting tall and thin right now so maybe he just doesn't have much of a tummy.
