For the last couple of weeks, C has been refusing to take an afternoon nap as often as she takes it. It's really frustrating and results in a very tired little baby by bedtime-- not to mention a tired mommy!
Her naps are still all over the place- one day she will sleep for 40 minutes in the morning, the next she will sleep for 2+ hours. If she does the 40 minute nap, she will usually take a second around noon, at least (often also 40 minutes).
But she cannot go from 12 or 1 pm until bedtime at 7 without a nap without also having a meltdown. Any tips or tricks that helped your LO with the afternoon nap? She is 6 months old, seems tired between 2-3 hours after the last nap, so I put her down then. She goes down all sleepy looking, then fusses a little bit but seems about to go to sleep, then just starts crying and won't go to sleep.
And off to try and settle her again but not to hopeful.
