LO is 4 months old on Sunday so I'm not sure if what's going on is a form of sleep regression. For a while, LO was sleeping from about 10:30-4:30 then 5:30-9. She also wasn't a great napper.

After the time change, she started falling asleep around 9 and sometimes will now sleep until 6 or 7. On the night that she wakes up around 4 though to eat, it's hard for her to fall back asleep even though she's obviously tired. And sometimes she'll only sleep the rest of the time right next to me. I'm not sure if this is because we're starting to get her to take regular naps and one of the baby steps we have to take is her napping on me.

Also, some nights are awful. Last night she went to bed at 10, was up at 11:30, back down at 12:30, up at 4, down around 5:30, then had the struggle of getting back to sleep and was up every 30 minutes. I learned to do side-lying nursing this morning because I was so tired.

Has anyone been through this? Any advice? She seems healthy and she's not cold at night. She has a doctor's appointment Monday so I plan to ask him then too.

Edit: Also, if she eats around 4 then we have the struggle of going back to sleep, she'll cry every time she wakes up, I may have my husband try to get up with her with some formula if I nurse her tonight and she has this trouble again.
