We sleep trained R (CIO) the beginning of July. Things were going great, some nights she would STTN and some she would wake up and eat once, around 4 or 5. One night slept 645-730, it was awesome!

Starting the first week of August, she started waking up every night to eat, and started getting earlier and earlier every night. Then it started twice a night.

We didn't know that she was teething, till the 1st tooth showed up. That was 3 weeks ago. So that explained the fussiness and sleep issues. Tooth #2 popped through on Sunday.

Shouldn't the worse of the teething be over? They still both have to fully come up. She is still waking up earlier and earlier and is so hard to get back to sleep. We have to hold her till she is full on asleep or she wakes up when we put in the crib, full on crying. If we will let her CIO, 30 mins later she is still crying and is so upset, only nursing will calm her down.

Last night she woke up at 10, she fell asleep on her own around 7, and DH got her back asleep, and she kept waking up before he even tried to put her down. I went in there, and she kept thrashing around in my arms. I put some Hyland's Gel on her gums, and we ended up giving her Tylenol after another 15 mins of thrashing. Finally caved and nursed her and then she finally got in a deep enough sleep I could put her down.
Then she was up at 2, I nursed her and again thrashing around like she is uncomfortable. I put her in the crib, and she woke up. We let her fuss for 15 mins, and then DH went and got her. It took over 30 mins for her to settle down. Then she was up again at 5. I tried rocking her back to sleep, again thrashing, but she can't keep her eyes open. Finally at 545, I just took her in our room, nursed and then she was fine. But then fell asleep on the way to day care. She looks so tired. Day care said that she is fine there, some fussy moments, but standard. She had 3 hours in naps yesterday there.

Sorry for the novel. I just don't know what to do anymore. I am so tired. DH is back on the road next week, so I will be on my own.

Could it still be the teething? Is there a 6 month sleep regression? She know hows to put herself to sleep, so I don't know why she can't in the middle of the night anymore.
