At 3-4 months old, my son started sleeping 10 hours through the night. It was scary at first (is my baby okay?!) but meanwhile glorious to feel so well-rested. And then around 5 months, he stopped sleeping through the night and has hardly slept through the night since then.

I have tried everything I can to help him sleep better. I have tried pre-bedtime probiotics (because he wakes up generally in pain with gas bubbles in his tummy), anti-gas medication, pain medication for teething, teething tablets, bed time routines, more blankets, less blankets, no blankets, snack before bed, no snack before bed, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

Truthfully, I think he may have food sensitivities that are causing some of this wakeful sleep. However, even removing the offending foods from his diet haven't kept him from waking in the night. If he only wakes once, it is a good night. If he sleeps through the night, it is a miracle that happens once every few months. The guy will be 19 months old this weekend! I have him on a pretty consistent schedule and he puts himself to sleep. Anyone experience such sleep issues? Right now he is teething and it has been even worse the past month or so. I feel like I have a newborn again! HELP!
