If there is a sliding glass door in LO's room...

How do you secure it?

What kind of window treatment (door treatment?) do you have? Pros and cons? Ideal setup?

Right now the bedroom with a sliding glass door is our guest room. When LO2 comes it will most likely we LO1 (2.5 yo then) or LO2 (baby).

My concerns are
>I don't want either LO to be able to open the door without my consent
>I want the door to be secure from break-ins
>I'd like the door to be fairly evacuation friendly (fire, earthquake)
>I don't want LO messing with the window treatments. Or any choking hazards. I'm thinking drapes might be the way to go?

Sorry, almost done... I'm also interested if you've closed off a sliding glass door. Not sure what is involved there.
