Hi all!

Before baby gets here I'm trying to read up and get a good direction of the type of parent I want to be so we can start from the beginning with a bit of direction/consistency. I have read many books but Bringing Up Bebe is most in line with my (our) parenting philosophy.

While I am am certainly open to whatever happens I plan to: breastfeed, cloth diaper, not co sleep (baby will be our room for a few months in a bassinet then go to their own room), enroll LO in daycare 1-2 days a week starting at 6 months with some supplemental care from both Grandmas.

That said, I'm starting to feel that slow parenting or free range parenting is going to be the direction we are going to be headed in. Does anyone have expirence with applying these philosophies from the beginning? Any advice or reading you may reccomend? Please see the attached screen shots of the books I just bought.
