well trying to keep myself from freaking out so wanting to see if anyone else has experiences to share!
i've been seeing specialist since 15 weeks bc of second tri bleeding and possible placenta issue. baby has measured on small side pretty consistently for awhile at 25th percentile, but has been otherwise healthy, and no further signs of placenta issue.
then today's specialist growth scan appt at 35 weeks (a little over 4 weeks since last growth scan), his growth has fallen into 11th percentile (his estimated weight gain is only 1lb 2oz since 30.5 weeks). At this point he is healthy, and all the vitals look good. I'm being seen weekly already. In 2 weeks they will do another growth and if is growth rate has fallen too much again, I'll be induced at 37 weeks.
I'm sort of freaking out, not about being induced or whether he is going to be ok per say, but it sounds like even if I go all the way to 40 weeks, he is going to be SMALL, like at best case scenario 5.5lbs, so probably smaller.
Can anyone share their experiences with small baby, being induced for small baby and/or IUGR?

But I can tell you he will do great once he's on the outside and if you're still considering FF it's probably a great choice in this situation. We just went back to the pediatrician today for a followup because LO lost a couple precious ounces and he'd gained it all back and then some.
