What did you / will you do for your LO's first birthday?

We did a smash cake. She barely touched it and DH and I feasted on it for days later!

We did a small smash cake for the photo shoot. Worth the $10. And then for her party she just had a cupcake.

I wanted cupcake because I thought it would be easier, but dh wanted a smash cake and I let him have his way.

Here's what we did today. Small smash cake with frosting. Fairly healthy (black bean chocolate cake, chocolate yogurt frosting). He was tentative at first, but ended up loving it!
