We've had people over this past week to talk to us about replacing our HVAC unit and maybe it's my oversensitive sniffer but I've noticed that our home seems to be filled with their odor after they leave. The last man in particular left a strong cologne smell and 2 days later I can still smell it at our kitchen table, even after scrubbing the table and all the chairs with Dawn, opening the windows, and running the air purifier.

I'm not sure how to handle this going forward? DH says he couldn't smell it at the door so by the time I came down the stairs the guy was already sitting at our table.

ETA: Would it make sense to ask DH to take people somewhere else, like the office? Some people have been weird about our table/chairs...one sales rep kept playing with our chairs and tipped her chair so far forward she almost fell.
