Maybe there's some truth to the idea that our birth order is related to the people we choose to have around us, because I'm an only and my friends have always been oldest or only children - never youngest! Have you ever found a pattern in your friendships?

90% of my closest girlfriends are the oldest too! Dh is an only child and most of his friends are middle children!

I'm oldest and I have middles/youngests/other oldests as friends. My best friend is an oldest as well. DH is a middle, but acts/treated more like the youngest! lol

Huh, I've never really thought about it, but yeah, most of my friendships that lasted long term were youngest children too. Interesting.

I'm oldest and I can't think of a friend that isn't oldest as well. Weird! DH has a mix of oldest, middle, youngest friends.

I am only and most of my close/good friends are oldest children or other onlies. I tend not to get along with youngest children. Most of the men I've dated have been oldest children, and I ended up marrying one.

They're a mixture. In my click of friends, there's three of us that are youngest and one oldest. And one of my good friend's is a middle.
