I met Hillary Clinton in Uganda when I was living there, and I went to an Obama rally in Seattle, but that's as close as I've ever gotten

Oooh and I saw Airforce one doing touch and gos at the airport in Kona when the President was on vacation in Hawaii last year.

i saw the bush family up in maine a few time when i was young.

i haven't met pres obama, but a lot of my family has. my cousin worked for him on his campaign & once he took office. my dad has pictures of their dog, bo, licking his face, we joked that he shouldn't wash that check anymore =) when my cousin quit to take a new position, my aunt & uncle were given 5 minutes in the oval office with the pres, they said he was very nice. i don't know what i would have talked to him about given that chance!

I met George Bush (sr.) while working at the Final Four last year. I was running photos and ran past him several times. One trip the Secret Service stopped me from passing because he was getting up to leave. He noticed me and beckoned me over. He told me he had watched me running back and forth and was impressed. He gave me a hug and told me I was beautiful. Then we posed for a picture for the newspaper.

Nope, but my sister did when Obama went to her college to speak a couple weeks ago.

A teacher I work with has been up close and personal with the Obama's because her husband used to be on the Secret Service!

I met both Clintons my jr. year of high school in Ohio!
Got pictures with both (at different events) and got to shake their hands!

@eeh: Heh heh... My state either. I guess it's a sure bet that we'll never go blue, so we tend to get skipped.
