Basically it's getting paid for online shopping you already do! You click through their site and you get cash back for your purchase!
For those that do how long have you been a member and what's your cash back to date?
I've been a member since 06 and have gotten $443.62 back with $28.09 pending!
ETA: For you couponers too Ebates gives you a list of current valid coupons. And sometimes some of them are exclusive to Ebates.

@looch: Yes, absolutely! You have to click through their site and you get a tracking ticket. Then as soon as the payment is processed you get a email saying you got cash back!
The best is there is a daily double cash back where they double cash back from certain retailers. Like drugstore.com is 6% typically but on double cash back days it's 12%! That along with online coupons equals extra savings. 
Around the holidays they typically double cash back at TONS of online retailers.

Yes! I've been a member since 2003 and I've earned over $350 back. In fact, I just got another $47 in the mail yesterday! I also use FatWallet and credit card rewards portals. I've gotten tons of points & cash back this way. If anyone wants a referral or tutorial on how to do this, I'd be happy to help!

yes!! loooove it! i don't how much i've gotten back, but i know it's fair chunk because i used it when booking a few vacations.

@looch: haha well the key is to not shop just because you get cash back! hahha then it'll defeat the whole purpose of making free money! 
But it comes in super handy around the holiday season.
