Just curious because I've seen two posts about wittlebee today. Is it worth it? From what I understand you get 6 items for $39.00, is that right? For those of you that are signed up do you feel you are getting your moneys worth? I want to sign up for it but I am kind of hesitant, because I usually buy items on sale and would get more pieces for that price. Is it name brand items?

Okay, so I just opened my first box and I am so disappointed. I chose red, orange, and white as my colors and EVERYTHING IS PINK! Seriously? And I requested no writing, slogans, or graphics and they sent me a hideous dress covered in cartoon butterflies that says "sweetheart" all over it. I'm emailing them to ask if they sent me the wrong box.
Also, take note: According to their return policy (http://wittlebee.com/return-policy/), if you ordered using a discount code, it's considered a final sale. So if you hate everything (like I do!) and you used a discount code (like I did!), you are screwed. Now I'm out $30 and I have some ugly clothes to pawn off on someone. Boo!

I don't think it would be worth it for me..... but I'm a very thrifty shopper and i feel like half the fun in having a baby is picking out cute baby clothes! But I see how its useful for other people.

@pointybird: That really stinks! I only paid $20 so hopefully if I even get one nice thing I will be happy. I don't know that I will continue a subscription though.

I'm canceling my subscription today! Gave them a second chance and I still don't like anything/totally didn't match my style profile. Think I'll just spend the $40 myself

I got 50% off so I ordered a box... I'm not sure, I haven't seen it yet. But for only $20 it's not too big of a deal. Without even seeing it, I I know I won't continue the subscription because I'm a huge sale shopper - I usually never spend of $5 an item for LO.
@pointybird: Oh no! that sucks... well hopefully their customer service is good about it... even with their policy.

I have considered it when I saw a deal and even before they reduced the number of items per box. But it's just not worth it to me. I buy most of DS's stuff off the clearance rack or at an awesome local second hand store, and I never spend more than a few dollars per item. I'd rather keep the money and use it on used clothes - at least then I know exactly what I'm getting and usually they have a lot of name brand stuff that's in excellent used condition at the local place.

@pointybird: Aww sorry to hear they ignored your wishes, maybe they do that when they know you can return it since you used a coupon code.

I don't think it would be worth it since shopping for LO's is probably my favorite way to waste time and money haha. I'm also very particular about what they wear.

I just got my first box. I am pretty happy with it but I left pretty detailed notes (for example no screen prints). I gt a really cute vitamins baby outfit that I would have paid around $10 for. There was another cute dress that is not totally my style but it's cute. Then there were 3 other basic pieces.

@Thehistoryofus: what are the brands of the clothing, if you have time? I am curious if the stuff is this season or not...does anyone know how the company procures the clothing?

@looch: I know the one outfit I really liked was Vitamin Baby. One piece was American Apparel and I don't remember the other brands. It all seemed like nice quality though.

@looch: I know I complained a lot about the box I got, but I will say that it included some Tea leggings that were super cute and soft. And they match a Tea dress my LO already has! I love that brand, but usually I can't bear to pay full price for their stuff.
ETA: I can't remember any of the other brands! Nothing very awesome or memorable.

@pointybird: Yes, in my notes I put that we love Tea Collection but sadly we didn't get anything from there. I was more leaving the notes so they knew our "style" (aka we are sick of carters).
