My 9 month old use to sleep through the night like a pro. She still needed a MOTN feeding occasionally but slept through the night about 75% of the time starting at about 5 months. At about 8 months she started needing a MOTN feeding every night but fell back to sleep easily and right after. Since then she's been slowly upping her wake ups. Last night I couldn't get her to bed until almost 11 and she slept from 11-7 with 4 wake ups and me having to nurse her back to sleep everytime. I don't know what to do! We suspect the she's teething and have been trying Tylenol before bed but it doesn't seem to help. She wake up and just sits up a cries and cries. I'm not opposed to CIO but I feel bad letting her just cry if she's in pain. We need SLEEP! Help! What should we do? Is this just life while she's teething and we need to just deal with it? How/should I stop nursing her all night?

No advice as my LO is younger, but wanted to commiserate on the lack of sleep! *hugs* Hope you find some solution soon!
Have you tried the Hyland's teething tablets? Heard it's hit or miss, but for those that are a hit, swear by it!

Sounds like normal baby behavior to me, but I know how hard it is to be tired!

My 8 month old wakes up frequently to nurse. She's always been like this though. Some nights we only have 2 wake ups, some night it's like 6+...we cosleep so it's not an issue. No advice, but I can commiserate.

There is a 9 month sleep regression as well...our sleep sucked around then!

It actually make me feel better that this seems to be normal! I just keep feeling like I just be doing something wrong!!

My LO is going through this EXACTLY. I can't pinpoint if it's teething, wonder week or the 9 month sleep regression. At this point I don't care what it's called I just want her to get some sleep!!!
