I don't have a needle phobia at all, so I need some help understanding. Does a teeny tiny needle prick really freak someone out more than passing a child through your birth canal? I know many people avoid the epidural because they are scared of needles...but like isn't unmedicated childbirth even more scary? It is way more painful than a tiny needle! Please explain, so I can understand LOL.
Fear based on previous experiences can be stronger than fear of the unknown, I think!
