What's something unexpected that your SO has done for you lately?
For me, DH refilled my water bottle last night without me noticing. I reached over and was about to get up to refill it but he'd already taken care of it for me! I know it doesn't seem like a lot but to me, it was terribly sweet.

that is sweet!
Dh does a lot around the house since the baby was born...But it is really the small things that make me smile. I know this is dumb, but he doesn't turn the bedroom lights on in the AM because now that LO sleeps, he wants me to enjoy every last minute of it. So, even though its like 9AM, he will keep the lights off and I hear him stumbling around in the dark getting dressed in the morning. He's is sweet; I can't say that at 9am I'd be willing to do that:/

DH was originally supposed to be off today but found out yesterday he needed to come in (they had to let another employee go). He talked with the other manager today and is coming home early to help take care of P so I can get some work done that I HAVE to get done TODAY (she's sick and was up ALL NIGHT LONG). I am so grateful!

Last night I was super tired and my phone charger was in the living room. Dh knew I would be too lazy to go get it and plug my phone in and that my phone would probably die over night. When I came into bed after brushing my teeth, my phone was charging by my bed (thanks to him).
Something so small but it was cute.
He also got takeout for dinner last night cuz I had a long day at work.

@TurtleDoves: That is incredibly sweet. DH does something similar in the morning, since he has to wake up at 5:30. I turn off the alarm for him and go back to bed and then he does everything in his power to keep the lights to a minimum and tries to be as quiet as a mouse - not easy in 1,300 sq ft where he has to walk past both bedrooms, the nursery and our master bedroom.

He does so much for me I honestly wouldn't know where to begin.
Every once in a while I will get love poems from him via email while I'm at work. They usually make me cry (happy tears!)
or the other day I went to do some laundry and opened up the cupboard for the soap and he's left a sticky note on it saying how much he loved me and thanked me for washing his clothes.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: He knows that I like to have water handy, especially since I'm pregnant and we have gas heat heating our house? It dries out the air SO much. So getting that done before Henry went to sleep and not fearing waking him? It was magical.

He tickles my back every night! I just love that. Also a comment he recently said just melted my heart and I can't stop thinking of it. We watch catfish every Monday and since we met online I asked if he was surprised at how I look or acted when we actually met in real life and he told me "I was so much better than he expected". I don't know why he just barely told me that but I love it!

Jealous of those little notes but DH is more comfortable showing than telling his love. Like Tuesday, he actually put LO to bed for me, gave me a break. It was incredible, especially since LO went right to sleep!

He gives me massages most of the time when I ask. He also bought me about 15 of those Reese's eggs the other day because he knows they are my favorite. So sweet haha.

He has blown me away during this first trimester - hired a house cleaner (I've been wanting one for years!), making sure our kitchen is stocked with gingerale and crackers, surprising me with a warm magic bag for my back.... so.totally.awesome

The last two nights, I have seen him for dinner and is all. He has been working crazy hours, yesterday was even his bday and worked until midnight. But Monday night we were going to bed and he just started massaging my back. He know how much laying in bed/sleeping is hurting it, so it was really sweet.

@Bao: Jealous of the back rubs and also jealous about the Reese's eggs... DH hates peanut butter, can't even stand the smell of it so I don't get to eat Reese's as much as I want.
@runsyellowlites: Yeah, been there, done that. LO had a double ear infection, then a single ear infection, and a cold recently so he was constantly sick for nearly a month! I felt like the worst mother ever having to get him out, even if it was just to go to the doctor's office. I'm glad your DH could take time off to help out, I had to wing it solo.
@char54: Jealous of the house cleaner but our tiny house wouldn't support another body in it. Maybe the next house! (I can dream!) And yeah, ginger ale is a must right now and I'm in the third trimester.

I managed to catch the flu (or a very toned down version--glad I got a flu shot). DH took off work today to take care of DS so I could read. I JUST got out of bed, lol.

DH woke DD up and got her dressed. I was listening over the monitor and smiling as he talked and played with her. And when he brought her to me, he had her all dressed up, complete with a bow in her hair.

@BabyBoecksMom: Sweet! Best way to 'wake' up I know. I love on the weekends when DH suddenly takes over in the mornings without me asking, giving me thirty minutes or so extra sleep - he only comes and gets me whenever there's a dirty diaper needing changing!

When I mention I have a craving for something, he makes an effort to make sure it gets satisified soon, and if possible, right then and there. He also gives me back rubs when I ask for them since I started having lower back pains. Boo!

i got home last night after working my regular job and my part time job and he had swept and vacuumed the whole house, I was impressed!
He's also cleaning the turtle tank tonight since i'm no longer allowed to go near them

My husband actually tried to make chicken fried rice (from a box) for me last night when I told him that I was craving Chinese? Complete disaster but I appreciated the effort!

@Chillybear: I would be impressed too. LO hates vacuums so the house is never as clean as I'd really like it to be. And kudos on picking up the slack - DH has been having to help me change our LO's diaper because I can't comfortablely reach over into the crib to do so (LO wiggles too much to make using the changing table safe).

I don't know if this counts but it was super sweet...I sent DH a photo of H looking super adorable in her bathtub and he replied:
"That little girl is the end of me...You were the start of me and now she is the end...". Swoon !!!!

@Alivoo01: Oh believe me, he gets oodles of brownie points. I appreciated the effort, especially since the mishap wasn't his fault - he followed the instructions and it -still- came out wonky.
@MarieJ: That's great that he's taken such a load off your plate! DH is always tired when he cooks because he starts supper right after he gets home from work but he never complains. And it's so great he got up with LO so you could get some rest!

Pretty much every morning he gets DD out of bed and sings to her before bringing her to me so he can head out to work. She loves seeing her daddy first thing in the morning and I get a few precious extra minutes of sleep every day.

I just started back at school and hubby drove me to my classes and helpedme find my way atound and waited around with our lo so I didnt have to miss anytime with pierson .....and I get to see my lo as soon as I get out of class...( i was sad about leaving p)He entertains piers in the car for almost 3 hours for me just so I dont have to miss him and spend time away from him if I had to commute by myself.
