I posted a link on my facebook to this article on CNN about what it was like to be a woman in the 1960s. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/07/living/sixties-women-5-things/index.html?hpt=hp_t5

Women couldn't go to Yale or Princeton until 1969. Harvard didn't take women until 1977. It was legal to deny you a job/promotion because you were pregnant. Women couldn't serve on juries in all 50 states until 1973.

My aunt commented that she was once asked during a job interview what kind of birth control she was on. I cannot even imagine. Also, there were restaurants that had "men-only" dining rooms. I can't even.

So happy to be a working mom (and woman in general) now!
