...and it totally felt weird to hear the name "Xander" being used there! I mean, YES, that's totally where I got the nickname, but now Xander's my baby, not Nicholas Brendon! I felt so confused watching it.
When a character on a TV show has your baby's name, does it totally throw you off?

Yes! I was re-watching one of my favorite movies, Mermaids, the other day. The mom is named Rachel and the daughter is Charlotte! I was like ack this is weirdddd.

OMG I looove buffy! And Xander on Buffy is a super funny awesome dude (for the most part!) so it's at least a good association?
There's an Uncle Leo on Seinfeld...but I prefer not to think about that

@hilsy85: haha, I LOVE Buffy too, and I actually liked the nickname Xander BECAUSE of Xander from the show. But now it's just weird to me, haha.
Oh goodness, Uncle Leo, haha. At least he wasn't a MAIN character!

I don't think that I have heard her name on a TV show or movie. People just want to know if we named her after the president.
