We use BG Freetimes exclusively and Fi has started soaking through them almost every night the last 3 weeks. i dont know if it because she's getting bigger or drinking more oz now that she's on cow's milk, but i feel so bad when she's crying at 4am and soaked. The PUL is fine the leaks seem to be happening around her legs and waist. Fit seems fine we've been using the current snaps for awhile now. I'm not sure what direction to go in right now. Do i try adjusting the fit? tighter or looser? Do i give up on night time cloth and go for overnight disposables? Do I add another layer to the already pretty bulky freetimes? D was a heavy wetter and leaked (also at the tummy and around the legs) with the Freetimes. I ended up getting him a few Kawaii Good Nights cloth diapers. We haven't had a leak since!

@littlebug: I dont know if i can spring for new diapers right now... I guess i would only need 2-3 since we wash every day... What makes these different?

We just tried Kawaii Goodnight Heavy Wetter for the first time last night. LOVED it! I stuffed with a thirsties hemp underneath one of the two included microfiber inserts. My daughter went 13+ hours (2year old) and the PUL was barely damp near her inner thighs - pjs were dry.
They're 12.95 ish on amazon prime!

@Chillybear: they list it in the description but I think there's 3-layer PUL or something, with another fabric in between. The PUL is much thicker and smoother than normal diaper PUL. When I stuff pockets the inserts always catch, with this one it slid right in.

@sorrycharlie: So in addition to the Kawaii Diaper you're also adding a Hemp insert? Couldn't i just add a hemp layer under the freetime flaps?

@Chillybear: Probably! I know someone that does that. My toddler is a super heavy wetter so I didn't want to chance the two MF inserts, and used hemp to be safe.

I love Rump-A-Rooz pockets for overnight. She's never soaked through them. In her BG pockets, I stuff with a regular insert, a newborn insert, and a long hemp insert. She hasn't leaked through that. I don't have any experience with the Freetimes because I sold mine a long time ago.

Maybe you can add a thin Hemp Babies doubler under the free time flaps.
