Do you just buy white ones? R always wears Trumpette but she is starting to outgrow those and they show with shoes. Looks like we are going shopping this weekend.

I buy a combination of white/black/patterned. I let her pick her socks in the mornings and she always goes for the crazy patterns.

I just bought DD some bigger socks from Old Navy. I liked that they had grippy bottoms, now that she's on her own feet.

I use white ones or printed ones from Carter's. I only use the printed ones if the colors match the colors DS is wearing. If not I do white

My friend gave me the tip to just buy white socks because she was forever losing 1 sock and then she would have tons of mismatched socks. So I bought a big pack of Old Navy white socks.

I love Hanes' baby socks from Target. They're essentially the same ones that DH and I wear. I need to get some 2T's for him soon.

I just make sure that they have grippy bottoms. There are times when DS is at daycare and they take off their shoes so I would have to have him slip!

@rattles: Same here! We just bought a bunch (mostly solid colors) from old navy and we like them. We bought them a bit big (2t-3t) but after a few washes they are about right. I feel like all socks shrink, no matter the brand, so we buy big.

I'm a fancy sock kind of girl (for both myself and my LO) so I rarely buy plain white socks. Plus, I have a boy so it's not as if he's wearing mary janes or anything where they may look funny.
