Anyone? Anyone? I'm having a particularly rough night. DS is 18 months and wailing hysterically in his crib (no idea why but has been for the last 30 mins) and I'm up with dd (2 weeks) nursing her. I was up with DS before dd starting crying and had to bail on him.
Ughhh. Things had been good but I didn't sign up for this!!!

I have no advice but its ok. Your son will not be damaged by this. and you are doing fine. I hope you have much better nights ahead of you! (This will often be me when we have another... )

Hang in there. Nights can be so rough. While I don't solo parent at night, I feel defeated some days when I have to pick one kid over the other to tend to.

@matador84: I've been there. hugs. In situations where both needed attention, I usually bailed on the baby as quickly as possible because I figured that she wouldn't remember it, but my older one would? Hope you've been able to get a few hours of rest!!

Sorry dear. DH is working a ton lately and I get so mad at him when I'm alone for the rough times, like dinner/bath/bedtime. And with DS2's medical stuff there are times when I need a sterile environment and have to shut DS1 in his room crying if he won't sit by himself.
Someday they will be teenagers and we will be wondering why they sleep so much and never want to hang out with us!
