DH just sent me a really sweet note thanking me for everything I do for us, the house, and R while he is gone every week. Makes it easier after the epic meltdown last night when for once I was jealous of him traveling and being away from R. Whom, was super sweet this morning after sleeping great last night.

I appreciate the little things in life; like DH filling up my water bottle, packing my lunch & putting it all together so late me can just grab it and run out the door!

He has bgeen getting up early to take the dog out before waking and taking care of the little man (normally we divide and conquer - I take dog while he takes C). But I have been exhausted and not feeling well so he has been doing double duty. Pretty awesome.

Aw, go DH! It's nice to be reminded that what we do every day, all the nitty gritty, is noticed and appreciated.
DH scheduled a mani/pedi for me at a really nice spa a couple weekends ago. He knew I needed some "me" time and it was nice to leave the house by myself for once, lol

Last night, I took LO for a run to try and give DH some time to himself since he has been solo parenting a few extra nights over the last few weeks due to my work obligations. I went for a long run to give him more time. Instead of relaxing, he folded all of the laundry, emptied the dishwasher and made LO's lunch for today. I love that he's such an equal parent.

He's been on the dry side of things ever since the worldcup started. I think I'll demand something today. It's been a couple weeks since I said, "awwwe." -

I've been pretty down lately because I really want a new job but am having trouble finding one. He's been so sweet to me and brought me flowers just because the other day
Also tomorrow is our ten-year dating anniversary so I'm looking forward to a romantic dinner!

I love all of these sweet stories! Over the weekend my in-laws were here and I was exhausted because they are night owls. My husband got up and told me to stay in bed to work on "baking" our baby and he went and made breakfast and spent the morning in the garden working with his mom. It was just so nice to not feel any pressure to hang out with them even though they were here for such a short visit.

That's so nice! It's nice to hear words of appreciation, especially when things are tough.
DH made me go to sleep early last night, even though i kept insisting there was so much to do. I ended up going to bed at 8:30pm while he hauled all the boxes to the new house and returned some things to Home Depot. It was nice to just let him take care of everything for once.

He drove the boys around for over an hour at 12:45 last night so I could sleep. That's love, people.

DH just sent me a very sweet text to let me know he was thinking of me even though his work is crazy right now. He's also slipped into conversation information he has read about TTC. It is nice to know he wants it as much as I do!

DH and I just got back from our trip and N is sick. So Dh took over everything to do with N so I could focus on staying well and caring for E.

Hubs got up early with Xander on Father's Day and let me sleep in (since I stayed up cleaning the vomit out of the car seat) and then he cleaned the living room, kitchen, AND bathroom!!

I love my hubby too but I can't think of anything right now.
He did comment how I am really good at "doing it all" and appreciates how much I do. I need to hear that more often I think -
He suggested a last minute trip up to visit my parents and aunt and uncle. On a Saturday night. He drove and we got in at 11pm. Then he insisted on not leaving until after dinner on Sunday, again getting home at 11pm.

Oh gosh, he does little stuff a lot. Most recently bringing me a bouquet of wildflowers he picked and some frozen yogurt because I had a headache and was just laying in bed sulking.

Taking out the trash to the curb on trash day is my responsibility, but he did it for me on Monday because he knew how dead tired and worn out I was from the weekend

He preps the next day's dinner for every weeknight and insists that I plant myself in front of the TV instead of helping. I don't put up too much of a fight

DS drowned my iPhone over the weekend, and I was dreading dealing with it. I don't have any extra two hours to deal with the AT&T store. He handled the phone company, got me a new one, and had everything set up and changed over when I got home yesterday.

We didn't get to celebrate my first Mother's Day due to an extra long nicu stay. We just got home & DH surprised me with a kitchen aid mixer as a late Mother's Day gift. We aren't much into gifts so I totally was not expecting anything.

These are all so sweet! DH didn't want to wake me up when he left for work, so he kissed my hand on his way out. Still woke me up, but I thought it was super cute.
