@anonysquire: sorry for the opinionated people in your life, but I miss seeing you around here! Your stories always makes me laugh.

Ohhhh yes, I feel ya! I was a part of a crunchy granola mommies group (with people from my hometown) on FB and I've had to quit reading for the most part because some of the moms are so vicious and judgmental to one another!

I know, it's so hard to tune everyone out. I just about had it too. I'm sorry so many people are annoying you!!

@anonysquire: that describes me too! It seriously drives me nuts. It's really hard to feel "connected" to any group -- all I want to do is make the best decision for ME and MY son. And because everyone is different and our life circumstances aren't the same some of those decisions are going to be different and just as well intentioned as other ones. Unfortunately, some people will never get it! So I'm learning to just go with it, ignore others and be proud of my choices. stick it to em mama!!

After two pregnancies and having two children, I can honestly say that I don't give a crap what other people think of me anymore. I will always thank my children for finally teaching me this lesson I have always wanted to learn. I have become the master of the polite smile and nod. People just love to hear themselves talk. Ain't nobody got time for that.

What a pain! Sorry you have to deal with all that! I hated telling people the names we were thinking of for the same reasons - DH got kind of weird about our son's name too at one point.

@Dandelion: wow! That is baller. I'm going to try that next time someone asks when we are going to have chosen our why we don't have children. "That's a private issue."

@anonysquire: I'm sorry people won't just stfu. super excited for you to have your lo soon though! The best part is you get to make your list decisions, not those people who are not raising your children.

@dc yoga bee: well seriously...why is whether or not I have my kid circ'ed a topic people need to ask about? Why are they so worried about what I'm doing? Its even more baller for the stranger to be asking about these things.

@anonysquire: Sorry that people are getting into your business. I hope you can snag a few lines from PPs and lay down the law.

PS- Thank you for posting a large pic of your av, I TOTALLY it was some awesome hilarious photo from your wedding (big white veil) and I smiled every time! Now I see the red and blue and have no idea what context this is…but it still makes me smile. Hehe.

People can be so weird and nosy. When people asked me about circumcision, I always said "What business do you have asking me about his penis? I don't ask questions about YOUR penis/vag." Seems to shut people up pretty quick.
