So I took my ovidrel shot last Wednesday and a few days later my boobs became incredibly sore. They hurt so bad a bra is torture! Has anyone had this? any recommendations on dealing with it or helping it go away! They are killing me!!!

Medela makes these cups that shield your nipples from touching anything. I forget what they are called. They aren't easily hidden under clothing, so they are probably only an option at home.

I think they're called nipple shields. Also, try a nursing tank instead of a bra.

I was wrong, they're called shells. Good if it's nipple pain. Won't help if it's breast pain.

@Weswife: Yes, I figured, but a cami with a shelf bra or a cheap nursing tank from Target will help when a real bra is agony. When I was pregnant with DS I flat out couldn't handle a bra for months. Fingers crossed for your TTC journey!

That's not fun - I remember that pain and there isn't a whole lot to make it go away except to try a nursing bra or something less restrictive. I hope you get relief.
