Were you in a sorority in college? Do you care if your LO wants to join one?
I wasn't but wouldn't mind if my LO wants to join one..if she pays her own dues, etc!

I was in a sorority & would love for DD to join the same one or another one if she chooses to do so because I loved it

I wasn't, but I would have loved to be!!
As long as the sorority wasn't too "naughty" I wouldn't mind if ny LO was in one.

I was in one... honestly would prefer if DDs didn't join one though... but that would be up to them at the time!

I was in two fraternities/honor societies, actually. We did intramural competitions in one. The one that actually did any normal frat stuff (like competing with other frats at volleyball, bowling, pool, etc) was fun and completely innocent. 'Course, all their events were on campus, so...

I was in a sorority but now that I'm 11 years out of college, I look back on it and think it was all a bit silly and superficial. I wouldn't forbid my future daughter from being in a sorority but I wouldn't actively encourage it either. And she would be responsible for all dues/fees etc completely on her own as they are expensive!

I was. I think it was good to have a group of women because my college was SO small. A few of my best friends still are girls I was in the sorority with.
DD can join if she wants but hopefully it will be a good one that's not just about partying all the time.

I was not and I don't feel like I missed out, if LO wants to be I don't dissuade her, however I don't think I would encourage it either. There are so many free organizations you can join in college, I don't think one should have to pay to be a part of something.

I was, but it wasn't a huge part of my college experience. They didn't have houses, and there were no requirements to live together (though I did end up rooming with sorority sisters my sophomore and junior years). I wouldn't really care if LO wanted to rush, as long as he wasn't going to take it too seriously.

I wasn't and I hope our kids don't either, but I'm not going to flat out say no if they really want to join.

I wasn't, not my thing at all. But if lo wants to do it that's fine, I don't think they're a bad thing.

I wasn't. I hope LO doesn't join, but I will support them if that is what they want to do.
