Do you have a sound bar for your TV? What brand? That's next up on our 'to do' list and, of course, the one DH wants is one of the most expensive on the market...

My DH is the same way. We ended up getting one that was the same brand as the tv, because he wants to use one remote to control everything.
In our case, a samsung.

@Crystal: He's very particular. Wants something very slim-lined and minimum. Of course likes Bose too...

Yamaha ones are very well rated as well, we are hoping they might go on sale after Christmas.

We have a Bose one. DH won it in a sales contest at work. I didn't notice the difference until we had to send it away for repairs once. I heard how the tv alone sounded and was like "how did we live like this??!"

@LindsayInNY: This is too funny, we just took a day to run errands and there was a Best Buy and DH insisted we go in to look at sound bars! We're leaning towards one of the more expensive ones because DH is a tech junkie. He's pretty low key but tech is the one thing he splurges on without abandon.
He wants to do a bit more research online and we'll probably order one in the next month or so. Keep me posted on what you guys end up getting!

My hubs has been trying to convince me that we need one too. I don't know if we want to spend the money on it right now... We just bought a bunch of furniture.
@cmomma17: I totally said the same thing after we got an HDTV.. How did we ever watch standard def tv?! It's so fuzzy!

@SweetiePie: At least yours is a tech junkie! My husband doesn't usually research much which drives me nuts. I want to compare some other top of the line brands first, just to be sure! And keep me posted on what you guys go with! Do you know what other brands you're considering?

Hubs wants to get one, but since we're considering moving within the year, we'll probably wait and upgrade our system once we get into a new house. But we've always like LG products - all of our bigger tvs and our new fridge is LG.
