It is getting HOTTTTT in DC.. so question, what do you southern mamas dress your LOs in for bedtime? Am I redneck for having him sleep in his diaper? He runs hot like his daddy, so I don't want to overheat him.

Not in DC, but NYC summers are crazy hot. I have no choice but to run the AC in her room all night or she would never sleep well.

It's been really hot here and AC is not up and running yet so many nights LO is in a short sleeved onesie or short sleeved pj and shorts set.
The one night it was def hot enough where I contemplated letting her sleep naked!

We keep our house pretty cool (71) at night, DH is an AC fanatic. So E sleeps in a light cotton footed sleeper and a cotton sleepsack.

we put lo in the 2 piece thin pjs and keep a fan on in his room.

We are probably in the minority (in Atlanta) but she sleeps in a footed sleeper and Halo sleep sack. We keep the house at 72 and her room feels chillers then the rest of the house. We also have her ceiling fan on low. So far she seems fine and content that way.

@littlek: Yes, I do a full footed sleeper and then put her in a lightweight cotton sleepsack.

LO is sleeping in either two piece pjs (long and short sleeved, shorts and pants) or footless sleepers. We do have one footed sleeper, but it's super thin. She doesn't usually wear socks to bed. I wouldn't hesitate to let her sleep in a diaper if I knew she was going to be hot and wouldn't take it off as soon as she woke up.

My boys sleep in just a diaper/undies year round. We live in NC.

We have on the AC at about 74 and a ceiling fan on. He sleeps in a light cotton sleeper.

It's super hot here! Yesterday the temp reached 99 but the weather channel said it felt like 110. They weren't lying. LO usually sleeps in just a tshirt since its hot, but she's hot natured like DH, so last night she slept in just a diaper.

It's hot & humid here, but we keep the AC pumping. She sleeps in a regular footed sleeper - no sleep sack.

Sometimes we run the ac over night. But if not, he's in a short/short sleeve pajama set. I found it at gap. If it were unbearable hot and ac was out I would put him to bed in a diaper too!
