For the last week scribble has been wearing nothing but a diaper at home (except to bed). For naps he's wearing a sleep sack and diaper only! It is so warm here! And we skimp on air conditioning!

Haha. We have our a/c up to 78 so it hasn't been that bad inside. Outside, she goes out in clothes just because I'm afraid of the sun and her pale skin. She is definitely in tank rompers now, though!

Dude, I'm in Canada and I'm ready to strip down! E slept in a tshirt and sleep sack last night, too hot for pjs!

Haha my kids stay in only a diaper/undies year round (inside) and refuse to wear clothes to bed. I put clothes on them to go outside because I don't want them to get burnt. But it's getting pretty hot here.

The one thing DH refuses to compromise on is the temperature of the house. He keeps it between 70 and 68 constantly (yes, we have a huge energy bill) so C is fully dressed all the time.

We are in Atlanta and LO is in onesie and shorts or a dress during the day. She still sleeps in a sleeper and swaddle at night cause her room gets really cold. We keep it at 71 or 72 at night cause DH and our room gets really hot.

@pelikila: My DH also refused to skimp on AC so our house can feel downright chilly. I wear a sweater most evenings and E is sleeping in a fleece sleepsack with a onesie underneath.

Just a diaper most of the time unless we're leaving the house, day or night. That has been the case for months though since we had a pretty mild winter/spring in my part of Texas.

We keep it between 73 (night) and 75 (day) in the house. It's not too bad so we have clothes on!

Gah reading this makes me so jealous! It's a chilly & rainy 55 degrees here. L's still in long-sleeves and hoodies.

We keep the house between 70 and 73. DS has been wearing a romper or just a onesie during the day. At night he's in knit pants and a onesie.

I am jealous toooooo. The weather is so up and down here in the midwest...living in the south sounds lovely right about now.

She wears a diaper and t-shirt inside. I keep the air on 77, not trying to pay GA Power $200 a month.LOL

We keep LOs room at 70, so he sleeps in footed PJs. He wears a romper to school tough.

Naked baby here in South Florida! Too hot for clothes unless we're out.

I'm trying to figure out how to keep this house cool when (if these last 8 days weren't an eternity!) we bring this baby home, because I know they shouldn't be over-heated. I tried to sleep without the fan on last night and it was way too hot even at 74/75.
(Anyone keep a ceiling fan on for their newborn/infant? If it dries me out, it seems like it would be worse for a baby.)

@Mrs. Confetti: omg I'm so jealous. weather this year has been awful in Minnesota. It's gloomy and rainy here right now.

@MsMamaBear: Ha, no joke, right?!?! Downstairs we are sans-air. Upstairs we're at a chilly 74, lol. But since hot air rises....it feels hotter!
@BananaPancakes: SAME HERE!
@Espion: I would suggest blackout shades! Also I guess you've already chosen the nursery situation, but we benefit from using as our nursery the room that is smallest, with the lowest ceiling. And of course a ceiling fan. We try to keep it between 68 and 72. During the day it is getting as high as 75, but at night we're still enjoying some cool temperatures.
@Mrs. Pen: I simply couldn't take it. Three months of gloom was more than I could bear!
@wheres_c: It sure does save on laundry and clothes wear-and-tear, doesn't it?!!?

The weather has been lovely here minus the rainy day birthday mishap! Girls are dressed in cute spring/summer wear .
@Mrs. Pen: I'm headed to MN this weekend. Looks to be rainy and cool.

@Espion: we use a. Ceiling fan! Doesn't seem to bother him, his crib is off to the side.

@Espion: I'm fanatic about having a fan for baby. It is a SIDS preventative! I also prefer fan noise to canned white noise and like having an extra layer of white noise on top of his sound machine. But I know a lot of people use a humidifier in baby's room so there's an option too!

@Mrs. Sketchbook: @scg00387: Awesome! Thanks for the advice, ladies! This makes me feel better. Now I just need to get this kid to crash our party.
