My son's room is the coldest in the house, by far. It is a small room, but for some reason never gets very warm (and only has a small baseboard heat piece along one short wall. It was fine until now - January in Boston is just too cold and unless I crank the heat to 75 at night his room is too cold. Last night I had the heat at 72 and my husband and I were sweating but my son's ears and hands were cold this morning. He already wears a long sleeve onesie, fleece jammies, and a fleece sleep sack to bed.
So, I'm looking at space heaters. The plan would be to use the space heater before bedtime to get his room warm and then turn it off/unplug when he goes to bed. I think I'd be too nervous to leave it on all night. Anyone have a space heater that they would recommend?
(We plan to sell our place this spring so I don't want to invest in upgrading the heating system at this point in time.)
