I didn't. I started getting really, really swollen at 25 weeks so by the time I hit the time most people take them, I hardly wanted to be seen in public let alone pay someone to take pictures of me looking the way I did. I as a fat, little sausage. lol

I didn't do them - I couldn't justify the cost and DH doesn't love posed photos so we passed on them.

I'm not planning on it...I just really don't know what I would do with them! We already have so many photos of us from our wedding around the house, I would feel weird having even more pictures of just me hanging up. And it seems silly to do them and then just leave them in a box.

I did, I absolutely love having those photos and I definitely didn't feel beautiful at the time, but when I look at the photos - I think I look damn good You always think you're worse than you really are. I am so glad I did them.

@mrs. wagon: I think if you have OFFERS of people wanting to do them for you, what's the hurt? If you hate them even after you have the baby, just don't use them/keep them. But at least you know you tried and you wouldn't regret it

I didn't only because I just didn't know what I would do with them. Hang them on a wall? I wasn't comfortable with having my bare belly up for display.

Sadly, I have less than 10 photos of me when I was pregnant (other than my weekly belly shots). I wish I had taken more!

I didn't, I haven't dealt well with my changing body and plus DH and I are terrible about framing pictures, so I don't think we would ever do anything with them. We do have a newborn session scheduled though.

I didn't. I hate taking photos of myself. I do wish I had taken a couple of bump photos, just at home, to have for the baby book.

I am not getting them either. I'd rather spend money on a nice trip or something for the baby or myself! But that is just me. I am not a terribly sentimental person either so it just doesnt make sense for me. Im only doing weekly belly shots but that is just for us and i dont know if i would show anyone else (but i do love seeing other women's bump progression).

My DH is a photographer on the side, so I think I'll have him take some, just so we have one to capture the moment. But I wouldn't pay a professional to do a shoot.

Right now I'm leaning toward not doing them, I would rather spend the money on really good newborn pictures. With a baby due in October, I figured we will want to get family picture done for Christmas cards as well when I hopefully have lost some more of the baby weight, so I would rather save the money for those.

Not a chance! I did not want anything commentating that puffed up phase. She's much cuter on the outside

I didn't with my first, but I did this time. I did them with my husband and daughter, so they are kind of "first family pictures of the four of us" since baby is in the belly and "last family pictures of the three of us" since the baby isn't really there yet. So, they hold sentimental value in that way. I managed to get them done before I felt gross... maybe 32/33 weeks I think? I've only seen a couple of teasers so far, but I'm really happy that I did them.

I'm not going to-- weekly bump pictures are enough for me! I think of them along the same lines as bridal shots, and they aren't my style.

depends how big I get... In general I have body issues and don't really want to do it if I gain a bunch of weight.

I'm not getting any done. Neither my husband or I are interested in hanging up pictures of ourselves in our house (we took both engagement pics and wedding pics and have never framed or hung any for our home), so I don't see the point. Plus, I'm not very happy with how my body looks now and would rather not see pictures of "big me" hanging up in anyone's else's house!

We will do a newborn shoot of the baby, but no super preggie pics for me, thanks!

I never did them. I hate pregnancy enough that I didn't want to be reminded of it with professional pictures, lol.

I wish we could have--we loved doing our e-pics and post wedding (TTD-ish) photos. We want to do anniversary photos, so we prioritized that over maternity photos and newborn photos.
