I can't believe I'm putting this in "childhood nostalgia", but considering high school superlatives would happen at age 18 at the earliest for most, technically it's part of childhood!
Did you or your SO win any superlatives in your yearbooks?
I did not win a single thing in elementary, middle or high school. I think the closest I would have gotten was Teacher's Pet or Shyest in elementary or middle school. I was definitely not remarkable enough throughout my entire childhood to be voted for in anything!
Wagon Sr. won Mr. Congeniality and I find that to be hilarious and adorable. He was genuinely liked by everyone. I always ask him which lunch table he sat at to get an idea of what kind of person he was like back then. He says he sat at a different table every day because he liked all the different cliques of kids and wanted a variety of experiences. He hung out with nerds, goths, band geeks, skaters, jocks, the popular kids... every single group loved him! No wonder he was voted Mr. Congeniality.
The cherry on top of all this? His prom date was voted Miss Congeniality!!
