Do you know how much your SO weighs?

Yes. He had a surgery a couple of years ago that helped him to gain some much needed weight. And then he kept on gaining. He was excited at first to be gaining weight at first so he'd always give me updates.

I know how much my DH weighs It's nice knowing I can never be heavier than him--even when I'm preggers

Yeah, he weighs himself more than I weigh myself and he'll usually say if it's changed, I think it's a plea to get fed more usually.

@chopsuey119: That's what I thought. Boy was I wrong! Luckily it wasn't for very long though, and now I weigh a lot less then him again.

@artbee: I gained 50+ lbs when I was pregnant (never again!), but DH still had a couple pounds on me. Phew! He was so shocked when he heard how much I weighed. Stupid labor nurse asked what my weight was while I was in bed and my husband was in the room.

Haha - I replied to this on the other thread. No, I do not know what he weighs and he does not want me knowing. If there is a stereotype of women not wanting to share their weight and men not caring, my husband is the girl and I am the guy. I could care less, he doesn't want a soul knowing.

Yep we have a scale in the bathroom and we check our weight together. Our scale isnt very accurate but atleast it gives a rough idea. When we go to the doctors office he likes to get on the scale there too lol

I know how much my hubs weighs becasuse he's proud of it (jerk). He spends time trying to gain weight. I, however, refuse to tell him what I weigh. Pre-baby it was not a taboo subject. Post-baby, I think I'd punch him if he asked. Needless to say- it's a very sensitive subject haha!

My hubs is the typical skinny Chinese boy. Skinny but lean. At my thinnest, I still weighed 2 pounds more than him! When I was pregnant, I used to burst into tears thinking about how huge I was. He lovingly calls me his Miss Piggy and he is my Kermit!

DH is tall and thin... ugh. Not sure what he weighs, but he can eat anything and everything and it just doens't stick. One day it will all catch up to him..

@BabyLove: haha - I too know how much my hubs weighs because he is proud of it!

Lately DH weighs himself at the Drs. office as we wait for my Dr. to come in.

Yes I know. He's slightly overweight so I try to give him healthy food and watch his weight.

Yep, same thing with his weight. I know his general range and he'll verbalize an actual number between fluctuations to keep himself motivated to work out.

@Rubies: HAHA I would go crazy if I weighed more than my husband! I dated a guy who was 7 inches taller than me but weighed less than me! -.-

I know about how much he weighs, not exactly though. Sadly enough I know that I weight only a little less than he does.

I do and he has been around the same weight pretty much all the years we've been together.

Oh yes, I know DH's weight. It makes me feel so much better that I weigh so much less. Superficial, yes, but good for the ego.

I know around how much he weighs but not exactly.

65kg, it is the weight that he competes at. I have to know as I send in all the registries. If he gains or loses a few pounds he has to let me know or I will register him at the wrong weight.

I know his weight, only because we were trying to get "fit" before I got knocked up. He tells me whenever he weighs himself, too.
persimmon / 1465 posts
Yep, I know his weight. He weighs himself at the gym and usually shares the result.

yes, but I don't think that either of us really thinks that it's a big deal to know how much the other weighs. if anything we can help encourage each other if we our unhappy with our own weight. I'm more worries about what he thinks of the stretch matks I'm getting on my boobs, honestly. ugh. stupid big boobs.

Neither of us know what the other weighs, it just isn't a big deal to know, and I think it would be odd if he came out and announced it to me LOL!

He's told me a couple times but I can never remember. I think it's really hard to figure out how much guys weigh. I was filling out a questionaire (sp?) and it asked me about my siblings' height and weight. I was completely off when it came to my brother.
