Our lo isn't here yet but we have already talked to our parents about our plans for our child: have just one child, both parents work, etc. I was surprised to find that my parents were totally understanding once we explained our reasons for what our plans are. My in-laws, on the other hand, they don't get it. They don't understand why we would choose to just have one child and why we would choose to both work. They are both older (upper 70's) and I wonder if that has something to do with it.
