DH thought I liked to watch sports on TV a lot more than I actually do.

But we were actually together a decade before we were married since we wanted to be damn sure neither of us would change after we were locked in!

I much more outdoorsy and not so afriad of getting dirty. I had never gone camping before meeting my husband... now I actually like it (as long as their are indoor bathrooms at the camp site!)

I cook more elaborate meals, and I stay on top of the cleaning a bit more...a BIT more. I'm also a lot better at budgeting, but that was sort of by necessity.

I'm more outgoing and more of a people person (I was a HUGE wallflower).

@illumina: Exactly this. I am so much more mellow and settled than I was pre-DH. I'm also way more tidy for some reason.

I have become so "domesticated". I too was strictly career focused en route to qualifying as an Actuary. Now I can't bear thinking about doing my last exam. I just want to have babies, cook and bake awesome dishes and be a stay at home mom.

I have become less selfish and learned to love camoflauge more. Lol

I don't care about my appearance as much, and it makes me sad. I want to care and put effort in getting all pretty but I really don't care or want to put the effort into doing my hair every day. (:
