Assuming you can afford 4.
I always wanted a huge family and thought I could handle four kids. BUT, after having my first, I think I would choose to have just two.
You?

4! I always wanted a big family, and now that I have 2, I know for sure I'm not done yet. I really want one more, so if I had to choose, I'd have two more.

Aww I thought it was a poll
Gosh that's hard... Probably 2. I came from a family of 6 kids and loved it. But I hated being pregnant and giving birth was hell on earth lol so just 2.

2. As much as I would love a big family I think with 4 kids it would be hard for me to give them each individual attention as well as having time to foster my marriage and do things for myself.

4. Course my answer will probably change after #1 gets here next month!

I would like to say 4 but that is kinda crazy. I could not handle 3 more pregnancies at this age, first of all.

@Rubies: My mom had us all spaced apart though, so it never felt like that many. My youngest sister was born when I was 15 and the oldest was in college! So my mom had been having kids for 20 years lol!! I think it's a little crazy - but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

Ideally I'd say 4 but we'll see how I feel after this one is born

If I had started 5 years ago, 4. But I didn't, and we're still working on making #1! So 2. I don't want to be pregnant in my mid 30s.

We're hoping for four. DH is one of nine, needless to say he likes big families.

Hmm..I think 4! I think a large family would be fun And presumably, if we could afford 4, we could also afford a nanny! Or at least that's how I'm thinking of it, lol.

I come from a family of four, so I'm not scared of four... But forced to choose, I'd like to keep our environmental footprint low, so I'll go with 2

2. I want to revisit this question after I have 2. Maybe the answer will change, maybe it will stay the same.

2! we got 2 and if we can go fo another, we'd do it, but we're happy with 2. 4 is too much! for us, anyway.

2, for sure. 2 is our limit anyway. We'll see what happens if we end up with 2 girls though, I know DH really wants a boy.

If money was no object..... 4+ I love a big family. But I also love getting to experience things like vacations, etc that financially we couldn't do with that many kids.

4, of course. I find parenting much more natural when there are multiple kids of different ages running around.

2 for us, 4 I think would be a little overwelming for me!

Two -- Couldn't handle four. However given that I will be 39 when i deliver this baby two might even be a stretch since it took Fertility treatments to get this one.

@kayakgirl73: I think I must have lost track... but I've been following since WB days. Congrats on your pregnancy! What kind of treatments did you end up needing and how are you feeling and when are you due?!

@Mrs. Jacks: I'm due January 7th. We ended up doing a Super-ovulation IUI cycle. Clomid, followed by Injectible Gonal-F followed by an Ovidrel Trigger than IUI. I had ovulation issues and a possible blocked tube on one side.
