When becoming a parent are you more patient when driving? I currently (now and always) have a bad case of road rage, I tend to get very upset when driving. I have tried to be better knowing I have a little one coming soon, but I still get pretty irritated! Anyone else had this had it disappear when a little one is in the vehicle?

I entertain interesting internal monologues when I drive with my LO in the car....and I clench my teeth so I don't have any crazy road rage outbursts!

@mrbee: Other drivers either not paying attention or going too slow. I hate when I see someone texting, or not using their signal then cutting me off.
Also, those who know the lane ends but think they don't need to merge and try to "beat" everyone else at the very end. We have one of these situtation on our way home and I never let them in.

I'm very patient anyway when driving... but DH is not. The anger (and cursing) is still there now that LO is with us

Mine is still there. I do try to drive less aggressively but I still yell at idiots that don't pay attention. He he he
I need to work on it before LO has a chance to pick up on it

Yep! I drive slower and am a lot more patient. I get a little crazy when the baby's crying and I wanna get home pronto though!

Uh I have the worst road rage. I seriously hope it calms down once baby gets here. But sometimes I just can't take these southern drivers!!!
