My parents own several schools that teach esl (English as a second language) to international and domestic students. They've been doing it for almost 30 years wow!
What do your parents do?

My dad works for a small consulting company that does loan processing software for banks. It took me about 20 years to be able to say/understand that!
My mom worked as a business manager for a dental practice for many years until they had to move for my dad's job 4 years ago. She couldn't find anything in their new city so she's semi-retired.

Dad retired HVAC business owner and mom is a hospital administrator (she was a sahm when we were kids).

in college, i missed chick-fil-a more than my mom's cooking. true story.

My father is a farmer/exterior contractor and my mom is a teacher's assistant in a primary school.

They play a lot of golf, tennis, Mah Jong, Canasta and Bridge.
My parents retired 7 years ago. Mom was a high school teacher and Dad worked in sales at the same company for 30 years.

My mom was a dietician for a long time, as well as a sahm. Then when we grew up she was the admin assistant for my dad. My dad manages a repair and overhaul shop for a military contractor. He was in the air force for 23 years before that!

Dad's a pastor and a doctor. Mom's an acupuncturist!

My dad is a podiatrist, and my mom is his office manager.

My dad is in real estate, and my mom is a writer and editor. She has written a few books and travels the world speaking about them!! She used to teach english to high school students in Japan though.

They used to own a drycleaners, but now they run a beauty supply store. Go figure for the stereotypes~
My mom plans on retiring to be our LO's primary caretaker early next year and my dad will probably invest in another cleaners of some sort and get out of the bad area in Detroit that their beauty supply store is~

My mom was an accountant and my dad was an account executive for a food company. They are both retired!

Both my parents are retired but my dad was a self-taught carpenter and my mom was a programmer for Toshiba (don't let that fool you into thinking she's tech savvy. She still forgets how to turn on her computer at home!)

My dad works as a shipping director for a major meat plant and my mom works as a lease coordinator for a trucking company.

My mom is unemployed right now, my stepdad works in the environmental department for a paper plant.
My stepmom is a SAHM and my dad is in quality control for a plastic plant.

My dad is a computer system analyst manager for the FAA and my mom has been a SAHM since she married my dad.

My dad is a mechanic, and my mom works in a hospital doing data entry, she types up all of the doctor's scribbles

My dad is retired from consulting and now he works in the info booth at Barnes and Noble because he got bored : ) He also plays a lot of golf. Mom was a SAHM when we were growing up. Now she is a marketing director for an assisted living community for alzheimer's patients.

My Mom is an accountant for an insurance firm and my Dad is the equipment manager for a pipeline construction company.

My mom is a SAHM/part time CPR and First Aid instructor. My dad is the CEO of a non-profit!

My dad is retired and worked for a major airline for over 30 years, as a technician aircraft router (routing planes to maintenance hubs). My mom was a SAHM. After my dad retired, they started a little business together, as sunglass and eyeglass suppliers for gas stations, tourist stops, etc. My mom passed away 6 years ago. Today, my dad has a part-time job as a courier (like, 2 days a week) and his new wife is a nurse but I don't think she works much anymore, she was part time on call for a while I think.

My dad is a quality assurance engineer at a company that makes compressors for cars and my mom is a preschool teacher.

My dad works for C-SPAN as a producer and hosts a morning show (if you watch you may have seen him on TV at some point!)
My mom is an editor for a medical journal

My mom is a director of quality assurance at The Hershey Company.
My dad is a shop supervisor at Tyco Electronics.

My dad is a general contractor and owns his own construction company. My mom is a traveling cardiac sonographer. She worked at the same hospital for 30 years and was the director of her department but was laid off not too long ago so she just started the traveling part.

@eiko2010: I'm assuming you're a central pa native? I'm from western pa but live in central pa now.
My dad is a train engineer (my nephew is soooo impressed) and my mom works for a huge life insurance company.

@dagret: Yup! Grew up in Hershey! We live outside of Philly now, though. Hope the transfer to Central PA has treated you well - we miss it!
