I have numerous Marc by Marc Jacob handbags and they have held up so well! Kate Spade too!

@.twist.: oooh, yes, makeup too. Im a huge advocate of drugstore makeup but the expensive stuff is sooo nice.

The tempurpedic bed is awesome. And creme de la mer is stupid expensive but I looooooove it.
I like to save and then invest in purchases that I really love that will last me instead of buying a ton of stuff I throw out after a few months.

Designer shoes and bags tend to hold up well...I have a few pairs if manolos which have been worn into the ground with dancing but they still look fab. Good leather, bags or shoes, will stay looking good as long as you take care of it.

Also, don't know if this counts, but nail polish--Essie and opi and butter are noticeably better quality than the $2 stuff IMO.

All of my Coach stuff has held up really well. Better than stuff I have that's Kate Spade, Guess, or Fossil. I also like expensive makeup.

My coach diaper bag looks awesome and it's been put through a lot these last 9 months!

I splurge on good running shoes and socks. Socks can mean the difference between minor discomfort and a major bloody blister if you are running long distance. I also really like Lush soaps.

Chantelle Bras are amazing quality and are totally worth it. Same with my Wusthof knives. I have a 5" Wusthof santoku and a 5" santoku cheapie Analon that I got at the same time and the Wusthof cuts so much smoother and has held its edge better.

I also love my designer shoes and handbags too. I think they tend to hold up better than the cheaper stuff I buy. Leather also tends to be more worth it to me because my nylon/jacquard bags end up fraying at the edges/corners.

*I used to work for a kitchenwares store so I got them at a great discount. Worth every penny, would have paid full price. I have a Wusthof, a Shun, and a "store brand" that was made for the store by Wusthof, a nice Cuisinart Green set (is Cuisinart considered luxury?) as well as a few Le Creuset pieces.

I don't know if its worth it per say, but I love my Tiffany necklace.. It's simple, a little blingy, and classic. I get compliments on it all the time and its just a great everyday necklace. I also love my Chanel sunglasses. Whenever I throw a pair on I feel instantly less ugly without make up!

Electronics, comfy shoes and nice leather goods.

Cars (not like real luxury brands, but the most expensive we can afford), furniture, electronics (laptops, cameras, TVs), boots and bags (always prefer to get leather which lasts), make up (nothing SUPER expensive, but always buy from a dept. store).

Knives for sure. Cutting things with my Global knife is a dream.

Every now and then I'm tempted by cheap, cute shoes. Then the blisters and sweat remind me they're not worth even the $15!

I also bought really nice paint last time I painted a room. I couldn't believe the difference--it went on so smoothly, so no splatters or drips or strong paint smell. Lovely and worth the higher price tag for sure.
