Did you play any sports when you were growing up? I didn't but my DH played a lot of sports and hopes our kids will be active as well!

Yup. I was on the swim team and the tennis team every year from when I was itty bitty. Those sports continued through High School. I also started Field Hockey in middle school and played through high school. Hubs played football, basketball and baseball all through school. He actually is a former NFL player so football is a big part of our lives. He is hopeful that any sons we have will want to play as well, but certainly won't force it.

I started out in t ball and then went on to softball. I played soccer and danced as well. My husband played soccer, ran track (he was a pole vaulter) and cross country. We definitely hope our kids play sports of some kind.

I played tennis in high school and I danced from age 9-15ish. DH didn't play any sports, but he was involved in JROTC in high school.

I played tennis in junior and senior hs, and my first year of college. Hubby didn't play on competitive teams, but played a lot of basketball and some soccer.
I would like our kids to be involved in a sport and an instrument of their choosing from grade school on.

I played soccer when I was young, but for basically my whole young life/high school/university I rowed (I believe in the US you guys call it "crew" :P). I would LOVE if my kids were interested in sports!!

I was in t-ball (then softball), gymnastics, and cheerleading. In Jr. High I tried to be a jock and played volleyball & run track but I was just not that good
I was also a life guard and enjoyed swimming, but our school/town was not large enough for a swim team. Hubby played baseball (and still does) and ran cross country. He was smaller guy, so had to be non-contact sports for him.

I played soccer. I was the only girl on the team and the coach was sexist to I rarely actually played.

I played softball, basketball, soccer and volleyball. I stuck with softball and played it competitively through college.

I played volleyball in grade school and high school. DH played any and every sport....baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, football.....I'm not as gifted athletically as him
