@annette same here! I'm somewhere around 6dpo today and my biggest symptom is increased saliva!! It's gross, and makes me super nervous because throwing up is my least favorite thing in the world, and usually the extra saliva thing only happens when I'm about to vomit. However... No nausea... So I don't know. My nipples are also a bit tender, and I seem to be peeing more than normal. I hope these are real and we both have s coming soon!!!

    @Aria: yay! congrats!!

Is anyone else on clomid this month? I took my 5 doses and really don't have any side effects... i heard clomid side effects are brutal so i'm a little confused...

also, what day do you usually start OPKs? This will be my first month (since i never ovulated before because of long PCOS cycles). Today is CD9 (approximately... not a full period to start the month, only spotting, but it's what i'm going with). I have wondfos.

@LaughLines: I used wondfo OPKs and when I was having weird, irregular cycles I just started a couple days after my period ended to make sure I caught it. Once I had a better idea of when I ovulated I waited till later so I didn't waste so many.

@LaughLines: I usually start OPKs (the cheap wandfos) at CD 10 and test once a day until it seems like the result line is getting darker, then I switch to twice a day.

@simplyfelicity: Aw, thanks for asking! I'm still in limbo-land! Temp was still up this morning, boobs are still really achy (it hurt going down the stairs this afternoon--that is not a typical pre-AF symptom for me). Had several moments of really strong cramps today where I thought "oh that's my period starting for sure," but still nothing at all! Haven't tested today. I kinda wonder if taking vitamin B6 this cycle has extended my LP.

@LaughLines: I haven't taken clomid before, but I would start testing with opks sooner rather than later since your cycle is irregular. And you want to make sure you catch your surge

I just went to the bathroom and had light tinge of blood in my cm. is that normal before ovulation?

@intotheocean: some people have spotting at ovulation.

@LaughLines: I have no clomid experience personally but I found this for you

OMGGGG. Tested last night, BFN. This morning, my temp is still elevated, my boobs are so sore it was painful to take my bra off, and AF is nowhere to be seen (CD31). Let's go, body! Make up your mind & get on with it!

@angelachase: Oooh, FX for a for you soon! How many dpo are you again?

  33. angelachase

    apricot / 306 posts

@Aria: I'm not sure. My temps were kinda all over the place this month--a lot of stress and travel. My CM was a little hard to figure out too. I think I Od either day 17, 18, or 20. Here's my chart....?

  34. Circusbee

    apricot / 390 posts

Hm, that is a tough one @angelachase I'd be likely to agree with CD 20, just because of the positive opk. Is that the only opk you tested with? Or did you just not record the negatives?

  35. angelachase

    apricot / 306 posts

@Circusbee: I was getting kind of desperate so I bought a Clearblue digital and got the solid smiley. That was the only time I tested because I found out they aren't supposed to be one-offs, but used in progression. Plus, our timing definitely wasn't ideal....hubs had food poisoning! If I am pregnant this baby will have been conceived under some seriously in romantic circumstances. Ha!

@angelachase: Popping in to say that based on your chart it looks like you o'ed on CD20. That would make you 11dpo. It's hard because you don't have a major temp shift (which I didn't either during all my charting).

ETA: I had written I thought it was weird that you got a positive OPK that day - usually you don't O the same day you get a positive OPK. Just saw your update! That makes a lot more sense. Does your tracking app take a stab at when you ovulate? It looks like you've been tracking for 10 cycles. If not, I would highly recommend fertility friend - I liked that it took a guess based on my historical data and other indicators I put in.

  37. angelachase

    apricot / 306 posts

@BakerBee: Yeah, this cycle was wonky! All my previous ones, I've had a very clear & distinct temp shift, but not this time.

  38. Circusbee

    apricot / 390 posts

@bakerbee I use Kindara too, and it guesses your fertile week and peak day with the pink stars at the top of the chart. So based on @angelachase 's chart, it looks like she ovulated later than usual this cycle. However, Kindara doesn't give crosshairs like FF, you have to manually choose which day is your temp shift. Sometimes that's not easy though...

    pomegranate / 3895 posts

@Circusbee: Oh I get it! Totally missed that. Thanks for the explanation!

I switched from FF to Kindara 2 months ago because I just thought the charts look so much prettier
