Has anyone here tried Stitch Fix? It reminds me a bit of Wittlebee but for women. I signed up and just got my first box and I am so excited! You pay $20 and they send you five things, you keep what you want and are charged for it minus your $20 and the rest you send back in a prepaid envelope. I love 2/5 things and there are 2 other things I like but don't love enough to keep, the 5th was a dud but not terrible. It was a ton of fun to try-- I hate regular shopping!

I filled put the form but I'm afraid I won't like anything and will be out $20! So you think they nailed your style pretty well with the online assessment?

@fussygal: I think they did a pretty good job, they sent a scarf almost identical to one I own but it was pricey in my opinion ($48). I probably would never have picked the stuff they sent but really liked all but one item. I feel like two of the tops were pretty basic but had interesting sleeves. I get the impression they know they are more likely to get you to buy stuff if they play it safe so unless you all to be pushed the stuff is likely to be fashionable but not at all outrageous.

I used to do it but got so annoyed I quit. I told them clearly that I needed things with regular straps to wear real bras with bc my chest is large. But they kept sending me all this strapless or racerback stuff! So after sending everything back 3 times I quit!

Bumping this thread, I just got my first fix! Not bad, I like 3/5 items, though I'm not sure one of them will look good on me. Anyone else try it lately?

I did a second box after my first and it was just a bit off and I decided to send everything back-- somethings I liked but they didn't fit and some were simply not my taste. I keep looking at the reviews and what other people got though and decided to give it another try in October.

I really liked some of the items in my box, but at the time I ordered it I wasn't happy with my PP body and now I've lost a bit more weight so I'm tempted to do it again. I'm trying not to spend money though so we'll see. I think it's a cool idea, especially for busy working mamas with no time to shop!

@LindsayInNY: Sadly, yes. I guess it kind of shows how disappointing my last box was because it is this weird decision of do I just give up my $20 or spend another $25 on something iffy.

@Cole: I think that's why I'm iffy... I feel like some of their clothing pieces are a bit more expensive than I would usually spend. =/

@LindsayInNY: When I set it to the cheapest seeing option they come in a little cheaper than a basic price point from Nordstrom. So if I were to like the items it works out for me since I usually go there to get things for date nights and events. For everyday clothes it usually doesn't make sense- I also don't wear super nice clothes to work either so my need for those items isn't huge.
